अखिल भारतीय पूर्णकालिक कार्यकर्ता अभ्यास वर्ग, शारदा विहार भोपाल में विद्या भारती के लक्ष्य में आंशिक परिवर्तन कर, हमारा लक्ष्य का विमोचन माननीय सह सर कार्यवाह श्री गोपाल कृष्ण जी द्वारा किया गया।

This is for the first time in North-Eastern Bharat, Vidya Bharati has opened a college, Shreebhumi Saraswati Mahavidyalaya, in our district town, Sribhumi. In constitution with the observation of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Saraswati Vidya Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Sribhumi a mass demand arose to establish a new degree college under the auspicious umbrella of the sangathan to foster higher education with inputs from Bharatiyata for developing new generations of students, to serve the society and nation with this dream SSM was established on 2nd May 2023. It will serve as a place where traditional undergraduate education from Assam University will be supplemented with efforts to instill self-confidence and self-reliance in our young students. Beginning from a temporary building, it will soon transition to a fully-fledged campus of its own, with preparations already underway for this exciting new phase. Initially the college would offer Four years UG programme in Arts and Commerce, with plan to venture into science stream as well. The Govt. of Assam and Department of Higher Education, Assam had granted necessary NOC to open the College and introduce FYUG courses in Arts and Commerce streams. The Assam University, Silchar has also granted affiliation to the College
